Ansfelden is a town in Upper Austria, located 289 meters above sea level, with a population of about 15300. The rivers Traun and Krems run through the municipality. The town is perhaps best known for being the birthplace of the composer and organist Anton Bruckner.
Ansfelden has two museums, the Anton Bruckner Museum and a museum of musical instruments.
The town was granted a coat of arms on October 28, 1985. It consists of a shield with a wavy white line running diagonally, representing two rivers. Above that wavy line, there is a green field with organ pipes over it, representing Anton Bruckner, and below the wavy line, there is a red field with a wheel, representing the city’s industries, such as paper mills.

Bad Ischl is a town in Austria. It lies in the southern part of the state of Upper Austria, in the area known as the Salzkammergut. The town has a population of 14,133 (2001) and an area of 162.85 km.
During the Austro-Hungarian Empire the town was the summer residence of Emperor Franz Joseph.
Baden bei Wien, a city in Lower Austria, 26 kilometres South of Vienna. Population (2002) 31,000.
It is beautifully situated at the mouth of the romantic Helenental, on the banks of the Schwechat, and used to be the principal summer resort of the wealthy inhabitants of the neighbouring capital. It possesses a Kurhaus, fifteen bathing-establishments, a parish church in late Gothic style, and a town-hall, which contains interesting archives. The warm baths, which gave name to the town, are thirteen in number, with a temperature of from 22 C (72 F). to 36 C (97 F), and contain, as chief ingredient, sulphate of lime. They rise for the most part at the foot of the Calvarienberg (1070 ft.), which is composed of dolomitic limestone, and are mostly used for bathing purposes. Baden is surrounded by c.120 vineyards and has about 70 wine pubs (“Heurige”).
Baden is accessed by the Sdautobahn (A2) and is linked with the Sdbahn rail with a train station and the Badener Bahn.

The city is an important railway hub and lies at the Tauernautobahn, a highway route through the Alps.
Bludenz is a city in the state of Vorarlberg in Austria. It is a cosy little town embedded in mountains at the meeting point of five different valleys, the Klostertal, the Montafon, the Walgau, the Brandnertal and the Gro Walsertal. The Bludenz district headquarters are situated in the castle of Gayenhofen, built in the 18th century. Major companies are Suchard (chocolate) and Fohrenburger (beer). In Braz there is a 18-hole golf course.n
Braunau am Inn is a city in the Innviertel (River Inn area) of Upper Austria (Obersterreich), the north-western province of Austria. It lies about 90 km west of Linz and about 60 km north of Salzburg, close to the border with the German Bundesland of Bavaria. The population in 2001 was 16,372.
The town was first mentioned around 810 and received the city statute in 1260, which makes it one of the oldest cities in Austria. It became a fortress and important trading route junction, dealing with the salt trade and with ship traffic on the River Inn. Through its history it changed hands several times and was Bavarian before 1779 and again 18091816.
Braunau has a remarkable 15th-century church with a 99m-high spire, as well as castle remains housing a museum, and parts of the former town walls.
Braunau is also famous as the birthplace in 1889 of Adolf Hitler. The fact is acknowledged in town publications, and a memorial stone for the victims of Fascism has been erected near Hitler’s birthplace.
Nowadays, Braunau has the full range of schools and colleges; industries include electronics, metal (AMAG) and woodworking, and glass. After two successful seasons, the local football team, S.V. Braunau, reached the Austrian 1st Division before suddenly going bankrupt in 2000. The team was refounded as F.C. Braunau.
Bregenz is the capital of Vorarlberg, the westernmost federal state of Austria. The town is located on the shores of Lake Constance, the largest freshwater lake in Europe. It is especially famous for the annual summer music festival Bregenzer Festspiele. This renowned festival takes place on and around a stage on Lake Constance, where a different opera is performed every second year. Other landmarks of Bregenz are Martins Tower, St. Gallus Church, the Art House, the Post Office Building and the Lake Promenade.
The city is situated on the eastern shores of Lake Constance, on a plateau falling in a series of terraces to the lake at the foot of Pfnder mountain. It is a junction of the arterial roads from the Rhine valley to the German Alpine foothills, with cruise ship services on Lake Constance.

Economic structure (14,769 employed people in 1991) mainly dominated by small businesses in the service, trade and industry sectors: textile industry (Wolford AG), iron-fittings manufactory (Julius Blum GmbH), glass processing and machine construction. Bi-seasonal tourism, a major attraction is the Bregenz Festival (since 1946, floating stage since 1949, modernised in 1979, Festival and Congress Hall in 1980), winter sports at the Pfnder mountain.
