Erzincan: Turkey
Erzincan is a small city in the East Anatolian region of Turkey. Nearby cities include Erzurum, Sivas, Tunceli, Bingol, Elazig, Malatya, Gumushane, Bayburt and Giresun. The city is located at the point where 39° 45' 12" North-parallels and 30° 20' 28" east meridians intersect. The altitude of the city is 1185m. The population is around 300000. Erzincan is located on a seismically very active fault zone and was struck by several severe eathquakes in the history. The last major earthquake was in 1992. The city is very famous for the special cheese called "Tulum Peyniri" in Turkish.
Kastamonu: Turkey
Kastamonu is the capitol district of the Kastamonu Province, Turkey. It has a population of 103,340 (2000 census), and an area of 1482 km2. It is located to the south of the province.
Near the city (approximately 10 miles) is the village of Kasaba with an important mosque, the Mahmut Bey mosque, from 1366, built in the Seljuk tradition. It is considered to be one of the finest wooden mosques in Turkey. The door has excellent woodcarving.

Erzurum (or Erzerum, Arzen in antiquity, Karin in ancient Armenian, Theodosiupolis or Theodosiopolis during Byzantine rule) is one of the Provinces of Turkey, in the Eastern Anatolia Region, to the east of the country. It is surrounded by Kars and A?r? to the east, Mu? and Bingöl to the south, Erzincan and Bayburt to the west, Rize and Artvin to the north and Ardahan to the northeast.

Çorum: Turkey
Çorum is a town in the Corum Province of Turkey. As of 2004, the population was 178,500. It is located at Latitude of 40.56° North and a Longitude of 34.96° East. Corum is also home to the Famous Ertugrul, who's family is one of the biggest and oldest. The Karadeniz dynasty first started in the early 12th century, and the family ruled in corum since the establishment of the Republic of Turkey in the early 20th century after which all powers were stripped. The only surviving member of the family is Ertugrul who currently resides in London, UK.
Isparta: Turkey
Isparta is a city in Turkey and the provincial capital of the Isparta Province. Its population is 150,000 and elevation from from sea level is 1035 m.
The city is famous for its roses and Süleyman Demirel University. The football team of the city Ispartaspor is in the third level league.
Important Persons
Süleyman Demirel, former prime minister and president of Turkey, was born in the village Islamköy close to Isparta.
The Islamic thinker Said Nursi spent the last decade of his life in this city.
