Marseille (English alternate spelling Marseilles) (pronounced /ma?s?j/ in standard French, /m?x?s?j?/ in local Marseilles accent) (Provenal: Marsiho or Marsilha, both pronounced /ma??sij?/) is the second largest city in France. Located in the former province of Provence and on the Mediterranean Sea, it is France’s largest commercial port and the largest in the Mediterranean.

Marseille is the capital of the Provence-Alpes-Cte-d’Azur rgion, as well as the prfecture (capital) of the Bouches-du-Rhne dpartement.

Musse De La Faience

Musse De La Faience is about 3 miles south of the center of Marseille, contains one of the largest collections of Porcelain in France. Its collections date from Nedithic times to the present especially numerous are the delicate and richly omate ceramics that graced the tables of local landowners during the 18th and 19th centuries.
