Ansfelden : Austria

Ansfelden is a town in Upper Austria, located 289 meters above sea level, with a population of about 15300. The rivers Traun and Krems run through the municipality. The town is perhaps best known for being the birthplace of the composer and organist Anton Bruckner. Ansfelden has two museums, the Anton Bruckner Museum and a museum of musical instruments. The town was granted a coat of arms on October 28, 1985. It consists of a shield with a wavy white line running diagonally, representing two rivers. Above that wavy line, there is a green field with organ pipes over it, representing Anton
