New Ross (Ros Mhic Thriúin in Irish) is a town in southwest County Wexford, Republic of Ireland, in the southeast of Ireland. It has a population of about 6,000. The town is an important crossing point on the River Barrow, being located between the river's estuary, and the point where the River Nore joins the Barrow and was the location of one of the bloodiest battles of the 1798 rebellion.

Killybegs (Na Ceala Beaga in Irish) is an important harbour town in County Donegal, Ireland. It is located on the coast of the county, north of Donegal bay, near Donegal Town. The Killybegs fishing port is the most productive in Ireland, and over 60 boats may be in the harbour at any given time. It is well know as a famous fishing town throughout Ireland, the brand 'Donegal Catch' comes from Killybegs. In the summer, there is a festival celebrating the fish catches.
Killybegs is also famous for its tapestries, which adorn Dublin Castle and many other important castles and palaces
Killarney (Cill Airne, "The church of the sloes") is a town in Co. Kerry, south-western Ireland. The town is in a deep valley in the MacGillicuddy Reeks, beside the Lakes of Killarney, part of the Killarney National Park. The town is also famous for its history, as well as the cathedral it is also home to Ross Castle, Muckross Abbey and Innisfallen Island, the location of a ruined monastery.
Because of its natural and historical interest, and its close proximity to the Dingle peninsula, Skelligs and Ring of Kerry it is a popular tourist town.

Portmarnock (Port Mearnóg in Irish) is a town north of the city of Dublin in the County Fingal (previously North County Dublin) in the Republic of Ireland. It lies on the coast and, owing to its proximity to Dublin city, is a dormitory town 15 km north-northeast of the city centre. Greenore is a small town in County Louth, Ireland.
Greenore is also a brand of whiskey produced by the nearby Cooley Distillery.
From 1873 to 1959 there was a ferry service between Greenore and Holyhead. The London and North Western Railway constructed a substantial hotel and railway station to serve passengers using the ferry.
In 1964 the port was used to fit out the ships used for the pirate radio station Radio Caroline.
