Rosslare Strand, or simply Rosslare (Ros Lir in Irish, meaning “the middle peninsula”), is a village in County Wexford, Ireland. The name Rosslare Strand is used to distinguish it from the nearby community of Rosslare Harbour, site of the Rosslare Europort.
Rosslare has been a tourist resort for at least 100 years. It prides itself on being the sunniest spot in Ireland, and records bear this out: Rosslare receives 300 hours more sunshine each year than the average place in Ireland. The long sandy strand is a Blue Flag Beach so it attracts swimmers and families, while there are a number of good golf courses in the vicinity. The Dublin to Rosslare Europort railway passes through the village. Rosslare has a few good hotels and a few good restaurants.

The village of Rosslare Harbour (Calafort Ros Láir in Irish) grew up to serve the needs of the harbour of the same name (now called Rosslare Europort), first developed in 1906 by the Great Western Railway and the Great Southern and Western Railway to accommodate steamferry traffic between Great Britain and Ireland.
Although the harbour itself is located close to the previously existing settlement of Ballygeary, it was named after the village of Rosslare, some 4 km away (8 km by road) across the bay.
The village has a number of guesthouses, hotels, a Roman Catholic church, a bank and some shops.
Sandymount (Dumhach Thrá in Irish) is a seaside village in the district of Dublin 4 in Ireland. Previous names for the area were Brickfield Town and Scallet Hill, a rabbit warren.
The area is bounded on the Strand Road and Beach Road side by the sea at Sandymount Strand and Merrion Strand. To the north is Irishtown on the way to Ringsend, and to the west, Ballsbridge. Sandymount Green is a triangular park at the centre of the village.
The Catholic church in Sandymount is dedicated to Our Lady Star of the Sea.

The town is an important crossing point on the River Barrow, being located between the river's estuary, and the point where the River Nore joins the Barrow and was the location of one of the bloodiest battles of the 1798 rebellion.

Dungarvan (Dún Garbháin in Irish) is a town and harbour on the south coast of Ireland in the province of Munster. Dungarvan is the administrative centre of County Waterford. The town's Irish name means "Garbhan's fort", referring to the Saint Garbhan who founded a church there in the seventh century.
The town lies on the N25 road (European route E30), which connects Cork, Waterford and Rosslare Europort.
Until 1967 Dungarvan had a railway station on the Great Southern & Western Railway route from Mallow in County Cork to Waterford, which saw daily "Boat Express" trains between Cork and Rosslare Harbour. See history
