Belua is a village in Slovakia with a population of just over 6,000.
It bellongs to the Pchov district and to the Tren?n Region. It is made out of four parts: Belua, Belusk Slatiny, Hloa and Podhorie. The town hall is located in Belua.
The village is also a crossroad on the main road from Tren?n to ilina. The main railway line from Bratislava to Koice via ilina has got a stop here. River Vh flows close to the village. Part of Belua are also the Belua Baths.
Belua was mentioned for the first time in a written document in 1330. There is a Romanesque chapel from the mid-13th century in the village.
