Wildhaus is a village and resort for summer and winter vacations in the Canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
The village is located on a pass (1090 m) from Gams, in the Rhine valley, to Unterwasser in Toggenburg between the Churfirsten peaks and Sntis. The municipality with an area of 34.43 km had a population of 1258 as of 31. December 2003.
The ski slopes above Wildhaus, Unterwasser and Alt St. Johann on the Churfirsten ranges reach 2262 m.
The reformer Huldrych Zwingli was born in Wildhaus in 1484. His birth house can still be visited.
